Alexa Voice Academy is a bootcamp to equip screen-based UX designers without any background in speech technology or linguistics with the core skills to begin learning VUI design on the job.

I influenced the curriculum to focus on cognitive and linguistic needs, especially those of the students, advocating for an exercise-based methodology.

I crafted lectures, examples, and exercises:

• Introduction to sample dialogs
• Introduction to flows for probabilistic experiences
• Evaluation of VUI designs
