Multi-Agent Conversational CX

Alexa Voice Service asked me to think about how we could scale the efforts of AVS designers while also raising the bar for our partner experiences on products with both Alexa and another partner’s agent, like Facebook’s Portal, and Orange’s Djingo smart speaker.

I assessed the usability and user challenges for device showcase experiences with multiple agents built in when only one could fulfill a given intent.

I developed a UX and product strategy platform framework that allowed users to opt into a limited but robust core of shared device-based features. These simplified interaction models to reduced cognitive load and memory demands by allowing both agents to respond to a given query with an on-device data-sharing model.
